This won’t break the bank and it’s a simple install. I probably wouldn’t have purchased had I not lost the OEM locking gas cap. Kept reminding myself to secure the cap cable but after putting it off, ended up breaking, and I eventually got into a bad habit of not replacing the cap after fueling up. Inherently, that habit left me with a gaping non-locking tank for about a week. No issues. No one stole my gas. However like most things, it was just a matter of time for someone to hamper with it. Also it was quite incomplete and unattractive on the jeep. This replacement not only looks great but is a simple install. Took all of 10 minutes maybe less, but I was being particular about my torque screws. I actually decided to re-use the oem screw to secure the new housing inside vs. the Phillip screws that come with it. Just feels more robust and a nice blend of old and new housing. Hope this review helps.
