Pedal threads? Chain rings? Bottom Bracket?** A: Anywhere you have a threaded fastener. This is especially important for carbon components. Not for application on the chain, nor the chainring, nor the cassette. **Q: Does this smell as bad as automotive anti-seize?** A: I don't think this has any smell at all (maybe unless you squirt it up your nose. Something I don't recommend) **Q: Can I use this for my pedals when I put them in the bracket so they don't squeak?** A: This is for the threads of the pedal to ensure they do not get frozen inside the crank arm. **Q: Has anyone tried this for ball bearings in a 3 peice crankset before? How well did it work?** A: Do not use this for ball bearings unless you’re prepared to replace them. This is used for non moving parts to prevent corrosion ( bike seat stem, pedal threads, etc).
