Review: Awesome Case Cover for Apple Pencil Second Generation - I was bit skeptical in terms of using the case cover as it was not charging the Apple pencil in the initial usage. But later I realised, I made a mistake while covering the pencil with case. I just flipped the case cover other way around where it was written MAGNETIC in the rounded rectangular box towards the magnetic side of the Pencil. After changing the side of the case cover by bringing the MAGNETIC rectangular box at the Magnetic side of the pencil and keeping on the iPad pro 12.9, it just not only sticked well on the ipad but also started getting charged, too. Highly recommended, if one is scared of getting pencil damaged by falling on the ground. Additionally, it does provide nice grip and confidence while using the pencil akin to others’s claim. It should not be working appropriately, if there is any case other than Apple’s Magic Keyboard.

**Q: Mine is not charging with the sleeve on, how can I solve this?**
A: You need to make sure the side labeled ‘magnetic’ is aligned with the flat side of the pencil. You need to be careful as the silicone can twist a bit and not line up correctly. If it doesn’t start charging, I have luck with taking off the end cap then if it’s still not charging, I stretch the silicone as far down the Pencil as it can, and then it’ll start charging. At that point, I can slide the end cap back on.

**Q: Is there a case that doesn’t have the cutouts for double tap?**
A: You could add a little silicone sealer to the double tap hole if you don’t mind going without the double tap.

**Q: Fit 1st generation**
A: I don’t think so. I got this for my second gen and it fit that one. The first gen is longer.

**Q: I get the case about half way on and it doesn’t go down anymore. Any tips on putting it on the Apple Pencil?**
A: Its kind of tricky! But its doable! Try to slide the Apple Pencil gently and softly, don’t rush ir because it won’t go in! Make sure the Pencil its clean!

I've been very happy with this purchase; not only my apple pencil looks more stylish but I prefer the grip which is provided by this case rather than holding it without. Though I was disappointed to realize later that the apple pencil won't charge if you have this on WHILE your iPad has a case too. I have to remove the iPad case every time I have to charge my pencil. But still, I would recommend this case to everyone if you don't use a case for your iPad or you don't mind removing it for the pencil's charging
