Terry Review: I love this stuff - I love this stuff! We are building a "cedar strip" canoe out of cheap western incense cedar which is full of knots. This requires MUCH scarfing to make strips long enough. Using regular wood glue for all of those joints was out of the question as the time would have killed us. I also tried fast epoxy but besides being to slow it would not hold well enough. Enter "Hot Stuff" with the spray accelerator. Absolutely amazing! Coat one side of the scarf joint with the CA glue then spray on the accelerant on the other side. Press together and ten seconds later it was tight. The good news and the bad news is the same--the working time is no more than 2-3 seconds. You have to nail the initial apposition or you can start over. This makes using a fitting jig of some sort a must.
