Review: Fantastic book. This is the best one I've found thus far for Indonesian. It gets straight to the point with useful vocabulary and grammar points, as well as the occasional culture point. I doubt I'll need another book to explain the questions that pop up as I learn Indonesian. Just pair this with a repetition system and you'll be good to go.

Fantastic book. This is the best one I've found thus far for Indonesian. It gets straight to the point with useful vocabulary and grammar points, as well as the occasional culture point. Es el mejor libro no solo de indonesio, pero tambien sirve para cualquier idioma. Tiene un sistema que puedes usar para aprender cualquier idioma. Parece con el de Raymond Murphy de ingles pero mejor. El mejor libro que he comprado.

The book is really good and well planned, brings lots of cultural tips and everything else readers have mentioned in other feedbacks here. However, as a language teacher, I could'nt avoid noticing that each lesson may bring dozens of new words and it may be a bit tricky for a self-taught student to deal with that. It would have been better if the book had more lessons or units addressing specific topics (like "introducing yourself", "at the supermarket", "family" etc.) and presenting around 10 new words per lesson. But, if your can deal with that, you'll probably enjoy it.
