They're Thicker than the cheap ones and our rugs have not slid on the floor at all!! These are truly different than the cheaper ones and worth paying for for something that doesn't slide!! I originally had the thinner non-slip pads under my rugs and they would scare us while walking because the rugs would slide forward and not even grip the floor! I took a look under my sister's rugs because hers do not slide and she had a thicker version that was more filled in (not so much space in between the little "puffs") and you could tell they didn't cheat in the process. This particular non-slip pads that I bought were the same ones my sister had that were puffier and thicker and they do not slide unless we get too much dirt underneath the padding.
