We would need to buy, so if anyone has any sugestion ...that it fit and is not expencive.thx** A: I bought a small wet / dry vacuum. These look like Shop Vacs. Ours is only 1 1/2 or 2 horsepower and is used primarily for shop or work area cleanup. With ANY vacuum that is capable of sucking up liquids or wet materials, you simply take the top off of the vacuum and remove the slide-on paper filter to pull wet debris or liquid. Mine cost about $30 and I bought at either Walmart of a home store (Home Depot or Lowes). The Baby Vac simply pushes into the end of the hose of your wet dry vac. The small wet dry vacs are plastic or vinyl, so cleaning the vac can be done outside if you want to avoid a bit of mucus in your sinks or tub. There are many sizes of wet / dry vacuums and all are not named the same. You'll know because it will plainly state on the label or box "for wet or dry pickup". Check the shop and tools area in Walmart first. Then if you don't see what you need, try a home store. I wouldn't bother with a tiny vacuum like you hook to your power outlet in a vehicle. Get at least a 2-3 horsepower. More power means stronger suction. SHOP VAC is a very popular brand. Just make sure the vac has a hose for you to push the end of the BABY VAC in to. That's all you do. If your baby is older, you'd want a little more power. **Q: Can you use the suction of your mouth on the end in the event you are away from the use of a vacuum; say out running errands?** A: Don't listen to these previous answers. YES you most definitely can use your mouth for suction. Just remove the vacuum attachment and put the little hose in your mouth. It's similar to the nose Frida in terms of exertion needed, but you actually get more suction out of this one given the same amount of effort. You don't need any crazy athlete lung capacity. Lol. **Q: Does this fit on a shark navigator lift-away professional vacuum?** A: It fits the hose on my Shark Rotator vacuum. It looks as if it would work with most vacuum hoses, honestly but I'm sure there are a few exceptions. **Q: Can this be used without a vacuum cleaner and just an adult operating it ?** A: Yes it can be used without a vacuum cleaner and it works great!
