Review: High quality, highly adjustable, good cable management. - Originally, I was using a cheap spring base, high profile arm that I've had for 10 years maybe more. With my new desk setup, I found it got in the way, both physically and visually and looked messy. Not to mention the springs would make an awful noise when adjusting. The Elgato Wave Low Profile arm is genuinely better in every way. It's highly adjustable, sturdy and very supporting of my microphone (A Wave:3 on a shock mount). It doesn't get in the way, as it can be neatly folded away to the side of the desk, or even behind your monitor if your setup allows. When in use, it doesn't obstruct the monitor, keyboard or mouse and you can genuinely forget it's there while playing. The magnetic cable tidy tray is a nice touch that fits wide cables and makes the overall appearance much neater. Setup is incredibly easy, and the padded clamp is very nice for protecting the desk. Only complaint is that a longer arm could be better for giving more flexibility with where to clamp it on my large desk. It's pricey, but for how neat it looks on the desk, the quality and adjustability and the fact that mic arms basically last forever, I'm very happy with the purchase.

A: Highest point of mic arm is 160mm.

A: It should hold any mic and long as you have the correct mounting bracket however I would suggest checking elgatos web for any weight limit

**Q: Can you use it with the rodex xcm50 thanks**
A: should be able to as it has the standard thread and adapters

**Q: Is this compatible with the RODE Podcaster End-address broadcaster dynamic USB mic? If not, can you recommend an adapter?**
A: I believe so yes. It looks like the rode podcaster comes with the rm2 connector. You attach the rm2 connector that comes with your rode to the rode mic, then connect the rm2 connector to the elgato.

The elgato comes with a few different size adapters to get over this issue

I tried a few booms before coming across the elgato lp. It is simply amazing. Brilliant style and build quality, works perfectly.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Engineered to a satisfying perfection.

This has to be the best mic arm I have ever used, its designed soooo well its smooth but not so smooth to hinder the use, it has an adjustable butterfly fixing on the joints which allow you to adjust the resistance in the arm joints to your preference from super slick to a velvety resistance so once you have used it a few times it kinda grooves itself so only the parts that need to move move and the rest just stays as is which means you can quickly get it from its resting place and bring it swiftly into position with a confidence and certainty it will remain and not slowly sag like the cheaper ones do. Another nice addition is the magnetic cover that runs over the arms allowing you to neatly tuck cables in there and shut them away, again the covers fit really nice and have a staisfying snap and weight that keeps them in place - the magnetic charge is just enough so it stays but is also easy enough to remove again. In conclusion the whole thing is just well made and well thought out - you can tell that it has been designed with thought and testing not just put together of a blueprint. If you are on the fence get off it and buy this you wont regret it.
