Yes, the instructions say apply twice per day, but this wasn't always possible or realistic. Still, I applied 2 times a day at minimum 80% of the days. I applied the product only to one side of my body (in the "bikini zone") during this time for comparison. While it's possible that I am not noticing 5, maybe even up to 10% difference comparing the treated vs. untreated sides, even if this is the case (unlikely) it doesn't make this product worth using - especially for the price. I also noticed zero difference in the reduction of ingrown hairs from one side vs. the other. About the only thing I can say is true is that it moisturizes. It was fine hair, with some dark, coarse hairs sprinkled in on my chin. I was mortified and very sensitive to it. I also had ingrown hairs on my chin, and I was just at the point of asking my doctor for a prescription medication for it, when I read that the prescription product was discontinued. In desperation, I turned to Amazon, quite frankly not expecting much. But whoa! I'm not only pleasantly surprised, I'm much happier than I would have been with the prescription product! This truly works, at a fraction of the price! I've only been using it for ten days, and I have MUCH less hair growing, and no ingrown hairs at all! For someone who didn't expect it to work, I am thrilled! I also love that the bottle is made out of biodegradable plastic! Pretty amazing! It also is great on my extremely sensitive skin. I haven't had a reaction of any sort. My only slightly negative comment is that the smell isn't the best. Some people have said that it smells like men's cologne, which it does, but I think men's cologne mixed with Nair.
