I wanted her to have something beautiful and amazing to look at once her eyes got focused. Her mommy had stick-on stars in her bedroom when she was little too - passing down the tradition. There's only one word for this little gadget - neat! You can make it stay still or let it rotate, you can have a sky full of stars, just the moon or moon and stars. It also has approx. six colors that will automatically change or you can pick just one color. The only bummer was that I found one about a month later that played lullabies and had a remote control. Tried the Twilight Turtle first, but she kept waking up and crying when it would turn off and there was no feature to keep it on all night. This is a great solution for all night light that doesn't cast weird ("scary") shadows like regular night lights do.
