I’ve sculpted with paper clay which is fine but this clay is much easier to get detailed work out of. The texture is nice to play with and easy to maneuver. I included an image of what I’ve been able to make so far and honestly I couldn’t ask for a better clay to work with. It dries in a day and is perfect for detailed work. The only issue which is expected is that it will shrink when it dries so if you add clay on top, expect it to crack and fall off if you’re not careful. I decided to glue down what pieces started to fall off and sand it down and it’s perfectly sturdy enough. Another good thing is this is quite strong when dry. I’m quite rough with it while sanding and I haven’t broken anything unless it was an accident on parts that were loose (like the neck but that was my fault). It’s incredibly smooth once sanded down and feels very nice in your hand. Very much recommend for people who want to craft on a budget. If you add on top of dried clay, be prepared to glue it back on with nail glue or super glue. I even have very tiny pieces that are very durable and strong (not pictured). It didn’t crack, but I wouldn’t go thinner than that. **Q: can I use this in an aquarium?** A: no, it will fall apart. **Q: How long does it take to fully dry? Can the clay part be added to something else by glueing it to another piece?** A: Mine was fully dry in 24 hours so guess it depends on what size chunk of clay you use. I made flat circles for my dogs paw print. Just let it dry slowly to not crack. **Q: Does this crack or warp when it dries? I want to make watercolor palettes. It’s soft right out of the package and easy to shape without cracking while you’re working with it. Once it dries, it holds its shape well and takes paint nicely.
