I had spent days last year trying to control it by manually pulling it out with a rake. This year on the advise of an article I read, I purchased this product and tried it. Much to my amazement it worked great. Within a week after applying I noticed the pond weeds had stopped growing and were turning to a different color. Another week went by and most if not all was denigrating. It only took a couple of ounces mixed with four gallons water in my back pack sprayer to do the job. So I have plenty to treat again if needed. The best part is it only took about 30 minutes for me to treat instead of days like last year. Used in a backpack sprayer so spray's a distance into the pond. Coats tops of weed growth. Best to use on sunny days where it has time to absorb without being washed off by rain showers. Take's a couple of weeks for it to absorb into the leaves and seep to bottom roots then they start's dying off. Area's that have died off have not returned. Good value ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars This stuff works! *by K***. on Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2019* I am unable to test the water in our pond, however, we haven't had any fish or turtles die and our ducks are in the pond all the time and drink the water and they've had no problems - so, I believe that this is a great product to use around the pond. It is slow - you cannot expect instant results. The bottle says a few days, it is more like 2-3 weeks before you see the results, but it works. We have found the best use is to spray the foliage we want to get rid of, wait a week to a week and a half, and then go in and cut it down and drag it off. This gets rid of it and kills the roots so that it doesn't return.
