I wanted the orange so hunters could see she was not a deer or other animal to shoot at. I bought a hunter-orange collar for her at the same time. And the reflective strips are fabulous! For a black dog at night time where there are no street lights, you cannot see her. But with even the wimpiest of flashlights she lights up like a Christmas tree! There's no way she would ever get hit by a car. Best reflection ever!
