I'm always wiping off my glasses and sunglasses in the car and I didn't want to buy a huge chamois cloth to put in there, so the 5x7 was perfect for what I wanted. In regard to absorbency, they seem to work very well and in regard to durability, I gave them a 3 star rating, only because I've only owned them 3 days. They are thin, as expected and desired but I'm unable to say how well they last so far. In regard to "value for money", my 3 star rating was based on the fact that for two 5x7 sheets of chamois cloth for $11 was expensive.
