## Description

Followed by the success of the Laowa 60mm f/2.8 2:1 Macro, the 100mm f/2.8 2:1 Macro is the 2nd member of Laowa 2:1 macro lineup. It features an apochromatic APO characteristic that chromatic aberration at both ‘infocus' & ‘outoffocus' is both invisible. This new 100mm lens can cover full frame sensor size and focus from 2:1 magnification to infinity. The lens has a similar physical size to other 100mm Macro lenses in the market but its wider magnification range allows macro photographers to capture subjects at any sizes. This 100mm f/2.8 lens can also focus to infinity and serve as a portrait lens with exceptional optics quality. Only Canon EF version is equipped with a CPU chip and motor for aperture control via the camera. All other mounts are manual and aperture is controlled by the aperture ring on the lens.

**Q: So the description says "for sony fe" but in the mount compatibility it says canon ef. do i need a canon -> sony adapter to use this lens?**
A: When mine arrived, it was, in fact for a Sony EF mount camera body; no adapter needed.  If you order yours and it is incorrect based on the description, you should be able to return it to amazon for a full refund by selecting the option for “incorrect description” as the reason for returning.

**Q: Is the sony e mount version a ef lens?**
A: No, Laowa lens are all manual focus lenses.

A: Yes macro lens for close up

**Q: Does manual magnified focus peeking work with this?**
A: Focus peaking is a function of the camera body, it should work with any lens mounted on the camera.

Très jolie optique, belles finitions, semble solide, la molette de MAP est agréable et assez résistante, pas pour me déplaire. Le crop de 1,5 est très appréciable sur cet objectif et offre la possibilité de ne pas trop s’approcher du sujet. La qualité d’image est très belle. Jolie bokeh, l’ouverture à 2,8 permet de capter pas mal de lumières, le piqué est standard, excellent à F8 et F11, se dégrade un peu à grande ouverture tout de même, mais reste totalement exploitable. Le rendu des couleurs est plutôt convaincant. En résumé je trouve cet objectif parfait pour mon a6700 !
