This helps prevent the sushi rice from becoming soggy while maintaining a light, fluffy texture. The outer bands are sturdy and made of copper. - Used to mix rice and vinegar when preparing sushi rice. This tub can also be used for serving chirashi sushi. Moistening the tub with water before use helps prevent rice from sticking. - Sawara cypress has a pleasant natural aroma and a fine grain. The fine grain also helps reduce excessive shrinking as the wood dries. - [Oke] Diameter: 10.6" (27 cm). Depth: 3.5" (8.8 cm). [Lid] Diameter: 10.6" (27 cm). Height: 1.2" (3 cm). Made in Japan. This natural discoloration does not affect the normal use of the product. - Approximate serving guide: 27 cm for 2–3 people, 30 cm for 3–4 people, and 33 cm for 4–5 people. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B096YXC1LQ | | Best Sellers Rank | #208,819 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #128 in Rice Containers #271 in Sushi Plates | | Bowl Material | Wood | | Brand | TIKUSAN | | Brand Name | TIKUSAN | | Color | Brown, Gold | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 56 Reviews | | Included Components | Lid | | Item Dimensions W x H | 10.6"W x 3.5"H | | Manufacturer | TIKUSAN | | Material Type | Wood | | Model Number | 60003-31 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Sturdy | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Product Style | Tableware | | Recommended Uses For Product | sushi | | Shape | Round | | Size | 10.6 inches | | Special Feature | Sturdy | | Specific Uses For Product | Rice | | Style | Tableware | | Theme | Japanese Cuisine, Sushi Making | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Bowl Material:** Wood - **Number of Pieces:** 1 - **Brand:** TIKUSAN - **Color:** Brown, Gold - **Style:** Tableware ## Images ![Wooden Hangiri Sushi Rice Mixing Tub Copper Band Made in Japan Made of Sawara Cypress Sushi Rice Bowl Sushi Oke (10.6" (27cm)) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51b4MJUikgL.jpg) ## Frequently Bought Together - TIKUSAN Wooden Hangiri Sushi Oke Rice Mixing Tub Copper Band Made in Japan Made of Sawara Cypress (27cm) - Sushi Rice 1kg - Emma Basic - Dried Seaweed Sushi Nori 50 full sheets | Young & Crunchy | High Protein | High Fibre| --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/339340057-wooden-hangiri-sushi-rice-mixing-tub-copper-band-made-in](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/339340057-wooden-hangiri-sushi-rice-mixing-tub-copper-band-made-in) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-11-07*
