These cases do a pretty good job with minor drops and the like, the back has a pretty thick coating. I’d suggest as with all cases that don’t include a screen protection apparatus to make sure you get one on there. Paired together it’ll keep your phone safe in a purse or pocket.The old case she had was one of the sprinkle water type cases. They dry out so this is an awesome alternative if you’re into the water “lava” type cases!
