Review: Sound - Perfect fit. Great sound. Worth the price.
Review: Great replacement - Replaced the subs from a 22 year old JVC mini system. My had 6 ohm subs which are impossible to find so the power and volume of the subs isn’t at the same level but they sound great.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I am looking to replace my advent heritage 8" speakers. they are dried out. are these the proper replacement ?**
A: they worked great in my antique advent towers. OD dimension is about 7 7/8". also, if your grills need refinishing, the "simply spray" fabric dye has the grills looking like new too. i tried to refoam the advents, waste of time and money. Bill

**Q: What is the actual outer frame edge diameter, the screw hole diameter and the inner frame edge diameter (where the frame bevel meets the edge ring)?**
A: My speakers have been installed for quite some time. They might be on the website those dimensions

**Q: Need to replace speakers in bose 301 series iii speakers. anyone used these for that application? if so, how'd they work out? thanks.**
A: The are 8 inch diameter speaker s. I thin 301 is smaller.

**Q: Which terminal is the positive?**
A: There is a "+" and "-" on the white tab next to each speaker terminal.

These speakers proved to be a suitable replacement for drivers in Advent Prodigy tower speakers. The speaker input terminals were too wide for the clips already on the speakers so I had to clip them off and solder the wires to the new speakers. The speaker baskets were shaped slightly different than the original speakers too but this didn't stop me from using them. All in all these new woofers proved to be a very good substitute for the original speakers.
