The Ltl Acorn 5310A also allows you to capture 720P video or 12MP photos (interpolated from 5MP). The built in sensors will trigger the camera whenever there is movement of an animal or human in the camera view (this is done by the camera sensing temperature changes). The Ltl Acorn 5310A can capture video and/or photos day or night and will record on board to an SD card (not supplied, 16G max). It's powered by AA batteries, a minimum of 4 are needed but you can fit 8 and increase "in the field" running time.Batteries are not included but battery choice is vital for the performance of your camera, do not choose any batteries with a capacity lower than 2500mA. We recommend Vapex Instant 2500mA Low Self Discharge Rechargeable AAs, they work very well with the Ltl Acorn cameras and are excellent value for money. We mention this particular brand and type of battery as they are the ones we use with the Ltl Acorn cameras every day (for testing and field work) and so can vouch for their compatibility & performance. There is a built in LCD screen that allows you to play back and delete unwanted clips or photos on site but you can also playback the footage on any PC or laptop, or even on your TV. The Ltl Acorn 5310A wildlife camera also has a time lapse feature, this allows you to set the camera to take a picture at pre- defined intervals rather than be triggered automatically by the sensors.
