The bass is like small subs and I’m running them off a stock radio. The highs are very crisp and does not hurt your ears. For the price they really improved my 2016 Nissan Altima, I thought the stock system was pretty good with a lot of bass. I paired them up with JBL stage 3 component speakers and everything matches perfect. Volume balance is perfect, I’m wondering how much better they can sound if I pair with an amp or sound deadening. If you’re getting no bass or low volume and music sounds tinny, more than likely your speaker polarity is off. Get a polarity app on your phone to check if negative and positive is really going to negative and positive. You’ll be surprise how good it can sound with even a stock radio. I’ve never heard this much bass with just speaker upgrade in any of my friends car. I also bought the foam gasket to seal between speaker and mounting plate. Just did everything I could to make sure it was a right install.
