**Q: "Made in the Americas" sounds like weasel words. What specific county are these made in?**
A: 28 years as an R.N. In ICU and OR,  Halyard is the “Mercedes “ of Medical.  No worry and I have zero affiliation or stock with this company.  I am retired and buying these for my family . Don’t be fooled by those made for pollen, dust etc. bacterial size and viral size filtering are way different. Check out the stats .

**Q: I don't see the name "halyard" in the cdc/niosh-approved n95 respirators or this number you provided tc: 84a-7521 in the list. what am i missing? thx**
A: Halyard N95 respirators are listed under O&M Halyard, Inc which is the corporate designation.

**Q: is this the same mask that is supplied to hospitals?  Is there a clear plastic/silicon ribbon edging the inside of the mask?**
A: Mine does not have a silicon edging it but it is identical to the ones l use in my hospital as an RN. If that helps.

**Q: If anyone from the company is checking here, why is the box not sealed, and how could you ship a box that is missing five masks (30 arrived, not 35)?**
A: My box had the complete shipment of 35. If you were shorted, I suggest you contact Amazon and complain. It worked for me.

The job is front & center with the public and with compromised family members, I needed to level up masking since the Omicron (stealth) variant is surging. After 2 years of wearing "homemade" masks (3 layers, 2 HTC plus 1 filter layer) daily, I felt it was time to buy something NIOSH certified. There are lots of fake KN95 masks out there, but these came from the original manufacturer, made in the USA and are medical grade. They are a bit tricky to put on, and the fit across the nose is tight, but when molded to your face, they absolutely lock in or out respiratory particles! Sure the "duck bill" style looks funny, (I even drew on some duck nostrils which make people smile) but fit over fashion is important! One thing I noticed is that they are easier to breathe in compared to all the other masks I've worn. I'm practicing the "wear it 1 day, into the paper sack for 3 days" like I've seen medical staff do, to get the maximum use out of them. So far, that has worked well. The box they came in is thin and got kinda munched in transit, but it didn't hurt the product. Also, they are not "sterile" and come boxed loose.
