But remember that because you are making the mat so wet that you may rub away the remainder of the stencil so it important to try and complete all the line work first. The only other downside is that because these mats are quite thin the needle is very likely to go through the mat and not only become slightly blunt from hitting the table it may also dent your table however if you put one more mat underneath the one you’re tattooing on this will fix that. overall for the money this product is very valuable and I will definitely be buying again! They are exactly 1.2mm thick so if your needle is just busting through or slightly under then you will in the ball park for hitting the dermis layer on real skin. They clean OK using Vaseline and then Dettol.
