I wanted to know if my brain could adapt before i even reached out to DMV. These were affordable enough to take that half step down the path, without going all in. Need a knee pad to get them on but ita quick. I have euro car so am getting the euro clamp but regular will clamp onto VERTICAL SIDE of gas pedal, thanks guys for the photo demo. Day one was an abandoned parking lot and i was having fun like at amusement park -not scary like i had feared, day 2 was back roads in quiet corcer of suburbia, day 3 was a state park up to 30mph. Totally doable and now its time to talk to dvm, backward from most people i know, but i didnt want to be sobbing and freaked out w dmv trainer. I hope they let me keep my quickstik!!! I use rhe silicone snap on wheel spinner for $10 it works better cheaper and much easier install than the wrench and screw type ones. Ive been dreading this day for years now but i think it might actual be fun to drive again. Who knows. The only issue with these is a rotation in the hand and sometimes the hand part gets “stuck in” the steering wheel but hopefully i learn the right wrist position. It’s already happening less.
