I was totally gutted when it wouldnt record with my Galaxy S22. All I was getting was external mic recording which as we all know is not very good.. I downloaded the camcorder app for gomixer but still no joy. I also downloaded shure motiv audio app which recognised the gomixer but still wouldnt record through it. I tried on my wifes S22 to see if maybe it was just my phone but it didnt work with hers either. However I tried it with my old Samsung S10 and an ancient iphone I had lying around and it worked fine with those...and its brilliant! Great audio for sure! Just use a 3.5mm TRS to dual rca cable from the headphones out of the mixer, into your speakers, for monitoring or playback. You will still need power for your mixer by connecting to a phone or other usb power source **Q: Can i use this with a macbook pro with usb-c?** A: I would think so but to be sure check the Roland site or email their customer service. **Q: Am i able to charge my android phone while using the go mixer pro x ?** A: Nope. It doesn't charge an android phone. The included lead connects to the mixer and into your phone, which powers the mixer and also serves to transfer the audio from the mixer into the phone. You'll have to keep an eye on your phone's charge while using the mixer, especially if you're using the +48v for condenser microphones. **Q: I have a go mixer pro (not x). the mini usb port is almost useless, and getting a spare mini to lightning is near impossible. what can i do?** A: Almost useless doesn't mean anything tbh. Best thing ive bought in a long time ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Working on Samsung S10 (inc amera app - read below) *by A***A on 20 December 2021* A bit tricky to get working with samsung smartphones while using the camera app. The mixer works perfectly for recording audio only but if you want to use it with your phone's camera app, download the shure motiv audio app and open it in the background. It somehow forces the phone to use external audio via the mixer for everything then, including camera or other music apps. The mixer itself is well built and has a wide selection of ports. I can easily record stereo audio from my laptop / mixing console directly into my phone for videos. Saves a lot of time.
