Though, when my set dried out pretty hard (the cover is poorly designed and not air tight) I no longer have the nice jelly consistancy and it works only for small paintings. Buy this set for practice...if you want to make larger paintings or want true gouache consistency after 8 months, buy more expensive artist gouache. **Q: Is the jelly cup resealable?** A: No, but the whole palette is airtight when it is closed so you don't have to worry about the gouache drying out.
