If it weren't for the fading of the other parts of the dash by the sun, you probably wouldn't be able to tell that this was a skin. It fit like a glove, but--and this is super important--take your time patiently test fitting the skin before you even think about uncapping the glue. It took a little pinching here (behind the bezel) and adjusting there (around the vents) and opening things (the cup holder, the glove box) to get the skin to fit just right. It also allows you to figure out where you need to set weights and position poles. Speaking of the latter, the fit got perfect after I glued it in two steps--the overall fastening, and then a second application of glue to the lower parts near the cupholder/air bag/glove compartment using a chopstick and some cut-down PVC pipes to apply pressure. Also important: just like a cracked dash, everything else on the console is probably brittle with age, so it's a bad idea to bang on the dash bezel, for example, to secure the fit--a tiny crack emerged on the bezel, but only where I can see it.
