The material is a little odd? Somewhere between neoprene scuba gear and traditional stretchy cotton yoga pants. I feel like these are better for biking than gym activity but that's just my opinion.I DON'T like that they don't cover my belly button. I feel if a pant is going to be high-waisted it at least needs to come a bit higher than these do. Also there's some odd puckering around the hipbone area, but that might just be that I'm more curvaceous than some. The print is pretty and fairly unique, the pocket might be good for some cash or a card, but I wouldn't trust my phone to it as there's only two lines of stitching keeping your phone from falling all the way down your leg. It's just stitching, not an actual inset pocket; keeping two layers of fabric together: the actual pant and the galaxy overlay. Perhaps an old school Ipod, or a SMALL Mp3 player? Next week will be 10 months PP and they still fit just as great as when I first received them!! I am 5’6” and the pair I have is a Size Medium. I weighed 169 and was a size 8 when I first received these (6months PP) and am now 158 and a size 6. They have passed the squat test for me each time-even if I have on a bright neon panty! When I’m jogging, I put my keyfob in one pocket & iPhone 8 in the other perfectly. When we go for slow stroller walks, I can stick a disposable water bottle in a pocket just fine as well (and a snack pouch for the little one, haha).
