The directions were clear and easy to understand. I do however recommend using any other wall paste then the one it came with. Once we used our own paste it was almost smooth sailing. Do not use any pressure when wiping off excess paste as this will remove the color on your walpaper. This paper is very thin when wet and not glossy on picture side like normal wallpaper. Knowing all of this I would buy again in a heart beat.
