It survived riding a horse with a helmet and putting it up many times. And the curls looked great! I never thought I would find one that actually worked for me!!! The rotating bit I could give or take, just a great great iron. Stylist uses on herself and weddings as well. I didn’t even plug it in to see how it works. It was delivered in the box you would have found it in on the shelf (see video) that has a weak magnetic closure. Literally my label was slapped on that. The entire box was gritty. Also a few small scratches on the actual barrel that, I’m sorry, it doesn’t get if it’s just sitting wrapped in its plastic little sheath on a shelf somewhere not being touched. Also as you can see in the picture the cord has dark smudges. I only uploaded one picture of that but the dark smudges are all over the cord. Again if somebody hasn’t already used this then they gave it to their kid to drag around the house… With all of those issues combined with the many reviews mentioning how poor customer service is, I decided to not gamble with my $150. Sending it back! Too bad because I love my Babyliss rotating iron. I wanted a bigger barrel and I couldn’t find it in Babyliss so I thought I would try this.
