The KimHee mount feels better made and it fits more securely in the CD-slot. It does move a little, but no more than any other mount I've tried. The clamp holding the phone is the weakest part of the unit and isn't as nice as the one on the Koomus, but overall this one worked better for me.It's easy to adjust to any angle with one hand, and it stays in place. I'm using it with a Google Pixel XL with a case and it fits securely. I'm a spirited driver and I've never had any issue with the phone or the mount slipping or moving excessively. The mount does cover the central locking button in my car, but that's not a flaw, just a coincidental inconvenience.For such an inexpensive mount I'm very pleased with the quality and the metal construction. It looks much more expensive than it is. Hopefully the clamp will last the test of time. The flipper rotates to vary the angle of the backbone to the flipper, and firmly maintains this angle. A ball and socket mechanism on the other end of the backbone connects to a spring-powered grip that holds onto the phone.As mentioned by previous reviewers, the spring mechanism is a poor design, because, with a small amount of torque, the grip arms can be separated from the mechanism, causing the internal springs to be disconnected.
