They come across as though they simply struggle with modern life and are desperately trying to escape it. I’d prefer to respect tantra enough to imagine it a little better thought out. It is a fairly useful dictionary of sorts for fundamental concepts. Terms seem summarised from other texts rather than giving you confidence the authors have understood them. But the meditations range from so simplistic as to be comedic all the way to warning you not to say something in Sanskrit if your grandmother’s dead. I come back to it every day to dive deeper into Tantra and Meditation. It is so difficult to find books on Traditional tantra which are easy to comprehend and taste the essence of the teachings.
