Review: Good cell balancer for tool battery. - Balanced my M18 12Ah overnight from 150mV to within 5mV. Very happy as the design brings the cells into equilibrium in lieu of designs that bring everything to the lowest cell voltage. At start I measured just over 20mA of current. Was surprised to find the next morning everything was balanced. It has a run light that was still on in the morning. Idk if it was still balancing but good enough. This was a battery I replaced 2 bad cells in. Nice for money. No frills, need a meter to confirm results.

They do a better (more accurate, and faster) job of balancing than my balancing chargers, and can be used for pre-charge, during charge and post charge balancing. I never liked using BMSes on my battery packs, preferring just to monitor conditions closely to get away with using simpler systems, fewer components to break down and the ability to over-power for short periods. I sure wish these had been available 20 years ago when I was actively building a lot of E-bikes and other battery operated systems. They would have made life much easier. Now, if the company would make similar modules that would balance 6 Volt Lead Acid battery arrays, I could vastly improve my solar power system for a reasonable cost. :-)

NOTE Tips: Well tested by the manufacturer. As long as the wiring is correct, the product guarantees long-lasting and effective performance. (Default Not include any batteries.)
- Working Principle: Flying capacitor transfer charge transporter, Balancer board is connected to the battery to start the balance work, using the original brand new ultra-low internal resistance MOS, 2OZ copper thickness PCB. Balance current 0-5.5A, the more balanced the battery current is Small, reserved for the dormant switch wiring position, the dormant power-off mode working current is less than 0.1mA, and the balance voltage accuracy is within 5mv!
- The quiescent current is about 9mA, and the battery capacity is recommended to be used between 30-200AH/Per Balancer. High-capacity batteries can be connected in parallel with multiple equalizers.
- With under-voltage sleep protection, only detecting the battery voltage of B1, the equalizer will automatically stop entering the sleep state when the B1 voltage is lower than 2.7V, and the standby power consumption is less than 0.1mA.
- NOTE: Before connect the balance cable to the balance board, be sure to check whether the connections of each section of the battery pack are correct, and do a good job of insulating the bottom of the board and the battery string connection terminals. Otherwise, it will short-circuit and burn the board. Tips: This balancer board is backward compatible by default. eg. If it is used for 3S, the last line B4+ is empty.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great supplement to a high-quality BMS

I have a high-end 206-Ah SOK battery with an Overkill Solar (Xiaoxiang) BMS that I installed because I wanted bluetooth. This battery has developed one cell that just doesn't like to play nicely with the others as it approaches full charge and the built-in balancer in the BMS just doesn't balance the cells aggressively enough. This board solved the problem completely. I have since bought a couple more to address similar issues in a home-built battery and another commercial one. A really elegant, affordable solution.
