If you don’t do this your roller will start sluffing off in tiny pieces and the application will be difficult. Have your window open for the fumes to escape. A beautiful and durable finish is what you are left with. Buy two kits! Better to have too much than not enough. If you need a second coat you will need to lightly sand the first coat before applying.

Well I tackled my bathroom renovation. Great product for refinishing. Preparation is definitely the most important part of using this product but it comes with everything you need. Make sure your roller is fully saturated with the product to avoid dry rolling. If you don’t do this your roller will start sluffing off in tiny pieces and the application will be difficult. Have your window open for the fumes to escape. A beautiful and durable finish is what you are left with. Buy two kits! Better to have too much than not enough. The finished product looks fantastic, but a strong caution - the odor is very strong for 3 days, and lingers for weeks afterwards. Make sure you use a very good chemical mask while installing!
