Review: I have several different sizes of the Okuma spinning reels and have been very satisfied with each. The ABF 6000 and ABF-B 6500 are heavy duty reels I use for catfishing. I do feel the increased capacity of the 6500 is worth the extra cost. Additionally, the bait runner switch on the 6500 is activated by flipping the switch in the opposite direction than that of the 6000 which is an improvement as well. If you slide the 6000 in a rod holder you can accidentally activate the bait runner inadvertently. Either way both are great, but in my opinion the ABF series is a step up in both lane capacity and the way the bait runner switch works. Both reels are extremely smooth! Review: It is what it is and is still really good. I lost a Diawa crossfire ands a old Okuma reel in the dark. This reel was a replacement and I was pleasantly surprised. The ABF 6000 and ABF-B 6500 are heavy duty reels I use for catfishing. I do feel the increased capacity of the 6500 is worth the extra cost.
