Is there a difference besides the color?** A: There is a difference. I bought both. The black model does not produce nearly as much air as the white model. Looking at the fan, the black one says .28 Amps. The white is .68 amps. The black one is lighter. I weighed them both. Black one weighs in at 1034 oz while the white one was 1364. There is a very noticeable difference between the two fans. The box they come in are identical (with the exception of the color of the fan on the box) and the model number. But there is a difference. It is interesting that there is no mention of that in the description of the items. **Q: is it quiet?** A: it was quiet when i first bought it and then maybe 2 months in it started a vibrating sound. i unplugged it and check tightness of all screws and everything was nice and tight ..plugged in again and still did it . the higher the speed the louder . i found if it is upside down or on an extreme side angle it stopped and was quiet again.. so needless to say i have this on the side in a very weird angle **Q: how can it be cleaned?** A: As of 04-11-2016:Cleaning Instructions for the Models HT-900 and HT-904 as stated by the manufacturer Kaz.
