This caused some damage to my drive belts. I was looking into various methods of thread repairs and chose this Perma-Coil Thread Repair Kit because it was simple to do and the hole did not need to be drilled out excessively as a time-sert repair kit. I just drill into the hole, tap the threads, insert the coil with the included special tool and I was done. I also applied some blue threadlock solution to prevent the bolt from coming loose again for good measure. This repair kit did it's job well so I am happy with the results. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works just as good as the Helicoil for less *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on September 26, 2013* I broke a bolt off in an aluminum super charger on an 03 cobra.Once I drilled out the hole with a 13/64 titanium bit.I used the guide to put the new thread in the newly tap hole. The only thing I would say is the tool used to grab the tang on the thread would probably be better if it had a slit through it instead of being recessed on one side.the first try I failed the tang broke off. The second time was successful.
