The charcoal adds a little grip to the floss and I feel that my teeth are cleaner. Mint flavor is minimally intrusive. The size of the thread is comparable to regular floss. I like that it's a natural product that will decompose, and I can re-use the bamboo container many times with the refills. Only minimally negative comment: unlike my prior plastic containers, the floss end stays tight in the blade after cutting, making it hard to get to the end for the next use.
