This product has the authentic sorghum flavor I grew up with and loved. I wasn't sure anyone even made the real stuff anymore! It is not the usual expected taste of molasses, maple syrup, or honey that gets so boring after a while. Now as a Gluten-Free foodie, I appreciate that it isn't overly sweet and adds such a unique flavor to so many of my recipes. It has given a richness and depth to all my Gluten Free baking (cookies, breakfast bars, granola, cakes). Love adding it to whole grain mustard for a glaze to use on grilled meats or salmon. I drizzle it over roasted vegetables and add it to baked beans. Makes a great sorghum vinaigrette, too! Totally worth the price to me. I keep finding new ways to use this. I was a little hesitant on purchasing after reading some of the reviews but I am glad I took the plunge because this syrup is by far my favorite. It has a strong sorghum flavor that is great for cooking and baking. I don't like the thicker syrup brands that don't have much sorghum flavor. If I wanted something that was only sweet I would buy corn syrup. I even used it in my home brew beer which added a great amount of flavor.
