Review: One of my favorite books now. - It’s so refreshing to hear stories from psych hospitals. Not the stories about how torturous the “treatments” used to be or “I spent 24 hours in a haunted insane asylum,” but real stories. I’ve been admitted to residential care and found it comforting to read about another persons experience. It’s fantastically written too, witty, raw and engaging. The book itself came in perfect shape, no smudged or misprinted lines, so that’s nice. Definitely a great read for anyone interested.

It’s so refreshing to hear stories from psych hospitals. Not the stories about how torturous the “treatments” used to be or “I spent 24 hours in a haunted insane asylum,” but real stories. I’ve been admitted to residential care and found it comforting to read about another persons experience. It’s fantastically written too, witty, raw and engaging. The book itself came in perfect shape, no smudged or misprinted lines, so that’s nice. Definitely a great read for anyone interested.
