Review: Tea stains FAIL - Tea stains. Thick dark brown tea stains on the inside of metal travel mugs. That was my issue. Read the reviews, trying to find something that would shift the stains. Bought these, followed the instructions, the stains are still there. I'm not shocked, but I'm disappointed. These tablets might be great for giving bottles and tubing a freshen up, but if you are trying to shift stains without scrubbing: useless. The only thing that has worked so far is baking soda paste and elbow grease and that isn't an option on travel mugs as I can't get my hand in to scrub.

Tea stains. Thick dark brown tea stains on the inside of metal travel mugs. That was my issue. Read the reviews, trying to find something that would shift the stains. Bought these, followed the instructions, the stains are still there. I'm not shocked, but I'm disappointed. These tablets might be great for giving bottles and tubing a freshen up, but if you are trying to shift stains without scrubbing: useless. The only thing that has worked so far is baking soda paste and elbow grease and that isn't an option on travel mugs as I can't get my hand in to scrub.
