The one with printing on it removed the part I most hated about cross stitch - the counting from the middle. I particularly hated it because I'd be off by one somewhere after doing a ton of work and it would look goofy. This completely eliminates that problem and lets me concentrate on actually doing the cross stitch. The colors took a while and several rinses to wash out, but they washed out completely except for on the very bottom the very dark color I can still barely see. This doesn't bother me since it will never be seen when framed. It turned out really cute as well, and I plan to gift it to my niece for her room (more like gift it to my sister since my niece is a baby, but same thing in the grand scheme of things). Anyway, highly recommend the cross stitch with the marks on the fabric.

I've been doing embroidery and needlepoint for a while off and on (definitely not an expert or anything close). It's very cute and easy. I'm dealing with back pain rn and needed something mindless to work on. This fit the bill. BUT The provided needles are really short. I used one I had on hand, suggest you do the same. The ink washed out ... But it took a lot longer than the 3hrs in the instructions.
