Black hair texture and/or curls tends to require a little more moisturization in their hair so it doesn't get dry so the product will be a bit more moisturizing than your typical product. If you already have oily hair then it is probably not for you as it might cause build up. Its pretty cheap though and checks a lot of boxes with regards to being free of harsh drying chemicals for your hair so give it a go, can't go wrong. **Q: Does shea curl-enhancing smoothie come sealed? I have fine curly hair between 2B-2C and where most of CG method shows using 2-3 products this one product post shampoo does it job perfectly well. It helps in forming good curls which can be refreshed with a water spray for as long as a week. I have tried a lot of curly hair Indian products which have been launched in the market recently but none are as effective as this one. Both the bottles had leaked by the time I received it. Some things about this product which I hope would help while buying is:1. This product is a great leave-in. I personally love the coconut and hibiscus ingredients for my hair.2. It is sulfate, silicone and paraben free which is why I went for it3. Very thick consistency. So use very little if you have thin curly hair or it will weigh down your hair and won't look as good.4. It did not define my curls so I use this only as a leave-in. For styling and defining my curls I would still use a light gel for curly hair.5. The smell is nice. I did not get a headache with the smell so it worked for me. It leaves my hair smelling real nice.6. A little will go a long way.
