I have used these bottoms to layer under fleece pants and hard shell bibs or breathable waders in temperatures down to -12 F. When appropriately layered, they are unbeatable in the duck blind or on stand in the winter. As a tall person, I like that the sizing covers long legs and long legs without any gaps around the waist, even when bending over. In addition to be warming, they are durable and suitable for outdoor adventures.
