Very important to securely tighten each and every nut before use.The burner happened to be adjusted perfectly so when it fired up an almost invisible light blue flame. The cooking process was very enjoyable once safety considerations were fully executed.We did a 15 lb turkey in about 55 minutes. A 14 lb turkey takes about 47 minutes. It requires about 4 to 4 1/2 gallons of peanut oil for a 15 pounder.Turkey fryers can be dangerous! Don’t EVER attempt to fry a frozen or partially frozen turkey! It must be completely thawed and dry; or you could burn your house down.Do a little research with YouTube videos so you can avoid the dangers, then you can truly enjoy the frying process.The best turkey my family has ever had. We will never go back to conventional turkey.
