Review: Best beach buggy! - This thing is a beast - I looked at various brands looking for larger weight limits and came across this one. My other criteria was wider wheels for sand. We have 2 toddlers, we use this at car boot sales (walking around) as well as taking on holiday to use at the beach. Loaded, it still gets bogged down in sand, so requires 2 people ideally but doable with one. I figured it is better though than the ones with thin wheels - anything will struggle in soft sand. It is sturdy, good quality, has a high weight capacity and a very usable size. Not the cheapest, but it is good quality so I believe value for money. It is a very versatile unit and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again.
Review: How did we manage without this! - Takes all the effort out of getting from A-B . Big chunky wheels, ideal for uneven ground and beach. Great buy. Would recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: When the cart is folded and cover is on, the cart doesn't stand upright without falling down, unlike the photo. Am I missing something?**
A: I make sure the wheels are spread apart just a little when I fold it up

**Q: How does this open? It will not open**
A: It should be simple. Just pull the ends apart and it will open. Perhaps the wheels are in lock position so release the wheels.

**Q: could you hitch this to another wagon?**
A: I connect it to my mobility scooter all the time it great!!

**Q: Are the wheels made of rubber or plastic?**
A: The wheels are made of hard plastic. I will say that it works pretty okay in the sand. Obviously it’s a bit tough in super loose sand (all of these carts have a hard time). I live in SoCal and have had zero issues using it last summer. This carts works WAY BETTER than the thin wheeled carts in the sand. Don’t buy those if you’re going to use it in the sand.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ How did we manage without this!
*by M***Z on 11 January 2026*

Takes all the effort out of getting from A-B . Big chunky wheels, ideal for uneven ground and beach. Great buy. Would recommend.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very sturdy but disappointing capacity
*by C***T on 26 October 2023*

I was really impressed with the build quality and sturdiness of this wagon but the capacity was very disappointing and I ultimately returned for a larger capacity model of the same make.
