I recently wrapped a Toyota Supra hood and roof without using my heat gun. **Q: If you want to remove how to do so?** A: I haven’t removed mine but I would assume you could heat it up with a heat gun again and slowly, slowly peel it back when the adhesive is loosened. Then use some goo off to get any residue off.
