He had a pressure wound sore that was very advanced on his left front shoulder. I feel the Derma Gel Spray provided extra protection in keeping the area clean and disinfected. He had also started to get smaller sores on a few other places - his feet, elbows and back hip. I cleaned these areas with a warm saline solution, then sprayed them with Derma Gel. This essentially nipped it in the bud and stopped the progression of these sores. They healed quickly and disappeared. I know it is supposed to be only for veterinary use, but have you ever gotten a crack at the end of you fingertip during cold dry weather and after washing too many dishes? This has happened to me too many times this winter. Band-aids would not stay on at all. I decided to use the Derma Gel on these small fissures and it was fantastic.
