The DARKER colored ones (called "rose tinted") which look somewhat orange-brown in color are FL-41. (You can Google what this is; it is especially useful for migraine sufferers with photosensitivity.) The LIGHTER colored ones ("amber") supposedly filter MORE light, but also cast everything with a yellowish tint. (FL-41 lenses tend to be expensive, and this is a very affordable price-point for trying them out to see if they help your specific needs. As a migraine sufferer with high photosensitivity, these confirmed for me that FL-41 tint ("rose", the darker pair) is VERY useful for me, and allows increased "screen time" (phones, tablets, computers), and are useful outdoors and indoors. (Neither is polarized, which is a separate thing intended exclusively for outdoor protection.) **Q: I don't see an option for small? Are these small or large? Thanks.** A: From top to bottom the lenses are 1 5/8" and the width across the top of each lens is 2 1/2" and tapers down to 2" at the bottom. The Rose colored FL 41 is a light tint so well designed to wear indoors. And yes the room fluroscent tubelight was much more tolerable to my eyes using these. So it works. On migraine days, I can just wear these, on top of my prescription glasses, and continue working while waiting for my meds to kickin. The Amber clipons, in color are like the amber glasses people wear in cloudy dusky days to increase visibility. Though internally they may have special coating to cut harsh wavelengths. On a bright sunny day, Atleast to my eyes the Amber were too bright. I like my normal dark sunglasses. But maybe that's just me.
