Great to slice super thin onion or ridged potatoe or French fries. It's advisable to use a safety glove or a carrier for the veg for slicing as it's razor sharp. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ classic solid construction *by A***R on 25 February 2023* This mandolin is made of stainless steel on the thickness of which they did not save. It does not deform and is made very solidly. Very easy to clean. Stability on the table is not ideal and therefore dexterity will be required when working. I made to further sharpen the vertical knives. These knives are thin and designed to allow you to push whatever you're chopping through. But if you sharpen them, it will be much easier to push through. I fixed the sharpening of the wavy blade for the same reason. In my opinion, this blade has not been sharpened. I would like to thank Amazon Australia for their understanding and support. Addition... If you use only horizontal blades for slicing, then pieces of the product can get stuck in the vertical blades, even if you remove them and do not use them. This is a design feature of this mandolin.
