Buttery soft leather. The company went out of business, probably because of marketing issues or because their products were more expensive. High quality and well worth it. Should last a very long time.The cheap set of no name headphones I used to use damaged my hearing and its fake plastic leather flaked off. Those flakes wound up in nose, ears, under nails, in eyes, and on furniture. The next set I tried was OK but very large and heavy. Took a while to find the Plica. The Plica was made of very high quality, authentic materials. Then the company went out of business. Thankfully the item is being sold new on Amazon.Since the company isn't making these new any more, these will eventually run out. Mein erster hat (nach diskreten Recherchen) noch knapp über 100 € gekostet - viel für einen kleinen Kopfhörer, fand ich. Allerdings: Das ist ein wirklich kleiner On-Ear Hörer (Rucksackreisen!) mit sehr diskretem, ausgewogenen Klang plus: Telefonfunktion. Er ist also zum Musikhören wie zum Telefonieren gleichermassen prima brauchbar. Ich fände die schwarze Variante für mich deutlich anstrebenswerter, allerdings kostet diese unverständlich das Doppelte. Also: Dann eben in weiss, mit immer etwas angeschmuddlelten Earpads, aber die sehe ich beim Tragen ja nicht. Der Klang - klasse.
